Grams Pie Crust Recipe

 This recipe was actually made by my great great grandma. Her husband was a pilot, while she owned a bakery in Chicago. I think it is wonderful, I hope you do to. It is a shortening pie crust, sugar free and delicious. The pie plate in the pictures was hers, as well, for an extra touch of sentiment.




Grams Pie Crust

1/3 cup + 1 tbsp. shortening

1 cup flour

1/2 tsp. salt

2-3 tbsp. cold water

Instructions: Mix ingredients together. Form a lump with the dough, and roll out on a floured surface into a circle. Place in a pie plate. Bake with filling, or freeze.
